Michel Bisceglia & Dante Loves Jazz – Stormi di Voci @ Stadsschouwburg, Genk (BE)
On 26 April 2026 at 3:00 PM, the Stadsbibliotheek Genk will host a special commemorative concert marking the 80th anniversary of the Italian–Belgian Migration Agreement.
The afternoon will unfold in two distinct yet connected moments.
The concert opens with a solo piano performance by Michel Bisceglia, offering an intimate and reflective introduction. Through personal compositions and subtle improvisations, Bisceglia sets the tone — contemplative, lyrical and deeply rooted in memory.
In the second part, he is joined by Dante Loves Jazz for Stormi di Voci — a poetic and musical tribute to generations shaped by migration. Jazz, spoken word and evocative soundscapes intertwine to give voice to stories of departure, resilience and connection between Italy and Belgium.
Stormi di Voci (“Storms of Voices”) becomes a dialogue between past and present, heritage and contemporary expression. In the intimate setting of the city library, music transforms into remembrance, and remembrance into shared experience.
An afternoon where reflection evolves into collective resonance — and where voices, once dispersed by migration, come together again through music.
