Lui, Lei, L'altro (He, She, the Other). The text of the show, with a preface by Koen Haagdorens.

"There is a distinctive feature in Gabriele di Franco's pages and it is the pleasant feeling of being able to bring a story to life with 'tailor-made' folds almost like a tailor-made suit. A decidedly unconventional book for those who want a truly different reading experience."
Chiara, Libriamociblog.it
"Gabriele di Franco's writing is fluent, clear, even if it takes us into many thought circles, understandable and shareable. This book is like that: thoughtful, curious, compelling and surprising."
Tatiana Vanini, librierecensioni.com
"'Lulela' is a unique reading experience. To fully understand it, one has to abandon all preconceptions, all well-organised and linear structures and enter the labyrinth of possible choices that is, after all, our life."
Antonella Covelli, amantideilibri.it
A universe of possible choices: this is life. Not a long straight line but a branching out of opportunities to be seized that draws our tree, that writes our destiny. It is almost maddening, if we stop to think about who we could have been, who we could still be, about the importance that every single gesture, a yes or a no, even an empty silence, can have in the balance of an entire existence. Lulela reflects on all this with elegance and irony, welcoming the reader into its labyrinth and making him or her part of the literary composition; the protagonist of these pages is not He, nor She, nor the Other, but it is I, it is You, anyone who feels like playing, taking a contempla(c)tive pause and discovering the fullness or emptiness of the mystery that awaits him or her. Looking at oneself from outside, from within, from above or below. Freeing himself from the burden of who he is, or who he is not.
Based on the eponymous music-theatre performance. Preface by Koen Haagdorens.
