What this site collects, and what it does not. Version 2, 7 October 2026.
Your choice on the players:
This site has no statistics, no advertising and no tracking of its own. The fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
Some pages embed video and music players from YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp and SoundCloud. Those services set their own cookies, so their players load only after you accept, or when you click “Load this player” on a single player. If you reject, the site works the same, and every player has a direct link to the platform instead.
The controller of this website is Gabriele di Franco, Brussels, Belgium. For any question about your data, write to info@gabrieledifranco.com.
Visiting the site. Like every website, the server receives your IP address and basic technical data (browser, page, time) to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. The hosting provider keeps these logs for a limited time, and they are not used to identify or profile visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Writing to me. If you send an email, I use your address and message only to reply and to follow up on what you asked. Legal basis: your request, and my legitimate interest in answering it. I keep the correspondence as long as it is useful for our contact.
Mailchimp site script. Every page loads a small script from Mailchimp (chimpstatic.com) that connects this site to my Mailchimp account. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser; like any request, it lets Mailchimp receive your IP address. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running the newsletter (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Embedded players. When a YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp or SoundCloud player loads, that service receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy, and may transfer data outside the European Union. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with the buttons at the top of this page.
No data is sold or shared with anyone else.

Accepting loads all four players; rejecting, or closing the banner with ×, loads none. The banner asks again only after six months, or if this policy changes.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format, by writing to info@gabrieledifranco.com. You can withdraw consent for the players at any time, without affecting what happened before.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, dataprotectionauthority.be), or with the authority of the country where you live, such as the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Version 2, 7 October 2026. When this policy changes, the version and date above change, and the banner asks for your choice again.
Videos and music players
