Waiting for a Summer Storm

The Ramon van Merkenstein Trio expresses their love for performing modern jazz music and adores connecting with their audience.

We're incredibly excited to announce the official release of Waiting for a Summer Storm, the second album of the Ramon van Merkenstein Trio. The album is released on the renowned Dutch label Challenge Records.

If our debut Quiet Dreams was about reflecting on the past, Waiting for a Summer Storm looks toward the future. It captures the depth and connection we've built as a trio, and the music reflects this powerful bond. Waiting for a Summer Storm is more than an album; it reminds us how powerful music is, despite the circumstances. The album is a tribute to new beginnings, adventures yet to come, and the dreams that carry us forward.

You can stream it on Spotify and Apple Music, or even better, grab a physical copy to enjoy the full album experience. It is available on CD and on vinyl.
